Laurus nobilis
An evergreen shrub with aromatic, narrowly ovate, glossy, dark green leaves. Leaves are often used as a flavouring in cooking.
Prefers well drained soil to full or partly shaded position. Prune to shape when required. Clusters of greenish yellow flowers appear in spring.
